Dr. David Gorchoff has spent the past 35 years practicing medicine in Northern California, and he feels privileged to serve people living with HIV and those impacted by the disease in the community. After graduating from the UC Davis School of Medicine, he became certified by both the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Academy of HIV Medicine. He finds healthcare deeply fulfilling, viewing it as a chance to use both his mind and heart to care for others with compassion. Witnessing the improvements in care that have transformed HIV into a treatable and preventable condition rather than a life-threatening disease has been especially gratifying for Dr. Gorchoff. When not in the office, he enjoys relaxing and exploring the Big Island of Hawaii or spending quality time with his family, including his four grandchildren.
