[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This October, MCHC proudly honored our departed loved ones with Ofrendas (Altars of Remembrance) at each of our health centers. The Ofrenda is a cherished tradition of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a time to remember those who have passed, celebrate their lives, and invite their spirits back for a visit. Each of our Health Centers' Ofrendas was a beautiful, unique interpretation of this beloved tradition. The time, care, and heart that went into creating each altar were truly inspiring. The personal stories shared, the memories celebrated, and the beauty of the Ofrendas filled our hearts with pride and joy. We were humbled by the outpouring of love and gratitude from our patients and families. Many were deeply moved that we were celebrating and honoring their culture, and families took joy in explaining the significance of the Ofrendas to their children. It was a truly special experience, one that brought us all closer together. This event was a reminder of the richness of our diversity and the importance of celebrating our traditions and cultures. Let’s continue to embrace our differences, learn from each other, and have fun together.
